It's also the same Olympics where Roy Jones got ****ed over big time, no doubt if Mercer didn't knock Hyun-Man out quick he would of got done over as well.

The fight should of continued, Bowe was ready to continue and the fight shouldn't of been stopped so early the Ref was clearly wanted Bowe to loose and was on his case at any opportunity.

I seriously doubt that Lewis is at fault here, just America seemed to get unfairly judged.

In your eternal quest to bash Lummox, I think you should have brought up the fact that Bowe must've not been mentally there after his sister had just been murdered when she was bludgeoned to death in a robbery by a crackhead and that his brother was dying in the hospital of AIDS.

The judge was disgraceful and robbed the fans of a great finish. He definitely had it in for Bowe.

Still, that does not take away from Lennox's excellent left hook that penetrated through headgear to HURT Bowe. It was hard enough to scare Rock Newmman into ducking LL 5 years later...

For once i agree with you... The Olympic Final was a Farce and i am not sure Bowe ducked Lewis in 92 more a case of Bowe telling the WBC where to stuff their belt rather than Bowe be stripped of it as Lewis would not accept 75/25, Lewis definately turned down $10 million in 95 to fight Bowe... Yet Lennox Lewis fans will not under any circumstances accept that Lewis was stripped for refusing to fight Ruiz, Byrd & Vitali of his 3 championship belts.

The referee was east german, tish tish sonny shame on you

Terrible stoppage I think Lewis had Bowe's number but the over fussy referee ruined the fight.
