Set your biases aside and think: Which single fighter was avoided more than anyone else in the 1990's?

Probably David Tua and then Oliver McCall.
Tua defended titles like WBC international , USBA , IBF Inter-Continental and got 0 title shots throughout the 90s.
People consider the Tua whom fought Lewis as prime (I am not sure if it is true or wrong) , Tua was 28 then and after wars with Ibeabuchi , Izon , Rahman , Maskaev and at the same time they consider Tyson shot at 23.
Yes , I know Lewis is 7 years older than Tua , but fighters of Tua's "style" , or better : huge size disparity ; need their speed and stamina more than those who rely on their size advantage , such as : Ali , Foreman , Louis , Lewis and the Klitschko brothers , and therefore have a shorter prime , it also make them get hit more which shortens their primes even further.
Tua did not fight Tyson and Holyfield for some reason and they were , along Lewis the most dominant HWs of the 90s

Out of the big 5 Heavies, Id say that Lennox was the most ducked, and was ducked by all 4 of the other guys...
Foreman was desperate for a title in 93-94 but never mentioned WBC champ Lewis. He sat out over a year to wait for a soft title holder to come along. (Moorer) after losing to Evander and Morrison.
Tyson 96-97: King paid Lennox millions to step aside
Bowe 93: threw his own belt in the trash.
Holyfield 97-98: Im not sure what happened here, but Lennox would mention Holyfield/Tyson after every match following Mccall II. Evander elected to face Moorer and Vaughn Bean instead. Not really a duck, but Evander seemed reluctant.

Except of the likes of Tucker and Akiwande only McCall agreed to face Orlin Norris during the 90s , if he got a shot against Moorer , Seldon , or even Holyfield , he could have been remembered as the shortest HW champion in history.
