Muhammad Ali vs Ken Norton Trilogy.....Who Won Each Fight?

This thread if For Those Who Have Seen All 3 Fights. So if you haven't, than bugger off.

I've seen each fight multiple times. All 3 fights were extremely close and simple minded fools who claim Ali was 'gifted' a decision clearly haven't seen the fights or simply do not know what a 'gift' decision is. Winning a decision in a closely contested fight is not even remotely considered a 'gift'

So who won each fight in your opinion?

Ali vs Norton I
Ali vs Norton II
Ali vs Norton III

I gave the 1st to Norton and the next 2 to Ali. First time I saw the 1st bout I believed Ali won. But after watching it multiple times over I believe Norton won.

Norton won the 1st and the 3rd.

I have the same opinion as TS. Ali won the 2 & 3rd fights.

Norton won the first fight decisively - 8-4 in the very least.


Ali won a close,but clear decision over Norton in the rematch - 7-5 in the very least.



Norton at most won nine rounds in the third fight.There were atleast three close rounds and one in particular which Norton staged a late rally and I had him stealing that round.A fight in which a few rounds can be switched around quite easily in favour of the other fighter and result in a razor thin win for that opponent can not be considered as anything less than a close fight.

for the record,I scored it 8-6-1 in Norton's favour.

3rd fight is extremely close and couldve gone either way...i scored it a draw myself only saw it once...people who say its a robbery are just being biased.....couldve gone either way..

I have seen all 3 fights many times......

Norton clearly won the 1st fight,something like 7-4-1

Muhammad Ali won the 2nd fight,something like 7-5

Norton clearly won the 3rd fight,something like 8-6-1

Norton acually gave Ali more trouble over the 3 fights than Frazier did over there 3 fights.Atleast when scoring the fights.
