Spinks big!!!!!! Spinks fought in a time where it wasn't common to pick and choose you way to a great record. He also cleaned out a division, which Mayweather never had.Comment

There were quite a few great fights that could of been made with Floyd that was never were, I would rank Spinks higher on a ATG list for the moment but Floyd will be remembered as the greater fighter for the simple reason that when ever Spinks' name gets brought up the average boxing fan thinks of the Tyson fight and not his reign at LHW.Originally posted by r.burgundy View Post

IMO I think it's still to early to compare these 2, if Floyd beats Pac and Martinez then retires, we should compare him.

We are talking about the Spinks who had his last fight at heavyweight in June of 88' and the Holyfield who established himself at cruiser the same year, right?
