I'm sure I left out several more.
Roberto Duran,SRL....To name just a few in other weight classes.

Tough, tough question...........the 70s, 80s and 90s were all closely matched for greatness.
I only chose the 90s because I have the fondest memories of the decade, it was a great decade for British fans particularly:
The downfall, **** conviction, comeback and subsequent downfall of Tyson.
Bowe vs Holyfield fights x 3
Foreman winning the title at what 45?
Eubank vs Benn rivalry
Eubank vs Watson rivalry
Eubank vs Collins rivaly
Eubank vs Thompson rivalry
The rise, entertainment and dominance of prime Prince Nazeem Hamed
The rise of Joe Calzaghe
Benn vs McClellan
The magic and genius of Roy Jones Jnr
Ray Leonard's two hyped and failed comebacks
The De la Hoya/Chavez/Whitakker/Quartey/Trinidad fights
Barrera/McKinney/Jones fights
I won at odds of 33:1 on the Lewis vs Holyfield draw
'When We Were Kings' was released.
Magical decade for boxing fans. It seemed like there were amazing fights on every weekend and the papers were full of boxing news, rivalries and comebacks! And still I've missed so much to comment on.........
What happened???

The fighters I highlighted were at their peak in the 40's plus you can throw in Joe Louis, Billy Conn, Henry Armstrong etc Probably the strongest MW era for my money, La Motta, Cerdan, the murderers row, Graziano, Zale. Some great lightweights Ike Williams, Beau Jack, Bob Montgomery etc etc
