i have watched this fight many times over the years as it is quite amazing to try to calculate "The Punch-Stats" - try it for Round 39
we are watching the `old style flicker-film`from one fixed camera positioned at the back of the arena shot in B&W.. just try to imagine if filmed today from ringside by upto 20+ modern cameras including overhead aswell as handheld cameras in each corner with the ability to zoom-in and super-slow motion.. then we read on this forum how the young members claim Floyd Mayweather & Shane Mosley would "kick these guys butts" using quotes like, `training has improved, better technique today, protien drinks etc etc... its laughable, Mayweather would not last 12rds with Nelson wearing 6oz horse-hair gloves and fighting at that pace.

round 12 Floyd landed - 30/47

the bottom line is Floyd would not last 12rds with these fighters he would be annihilated.
