bonavena outboxed and outfought him decisively.

bonavena fought Zora folley in his 9th pro fight. He sure didn't have the amateur credentials that frazier had either.
I'm not trying to be mean or demean you but:What fight were you watching?

Yes,i saw Frazier get dropped twice in the 2nd round. But he won atleast 5 rounds.

Aggression doesn't mean anything if it's ineffective, and frazier's aggression was just that.He tried to push bonavena back and got manhandled in the clinches.

Watch bonavena draw frazier in @5.16

frazier also got away with busting bonavena in the balls a number of times throughout the fight and was never once warned.

low blows were always legal in frazier's fights.

I believe Bonevena had a 20lb weight advantage on Frazier.Manhandling someone in the clinches doesn't count in the scoring of a fight.Like i said this was only Frazier's 10th pro fight, and had only been fighting about 1 year as a pro.It was a close hard fought fight that was very close.Frazier clearly wins the 2nd fight.

Styles make fights! And most fighters fight someone who's style is a bad style for them.Ken Norton for Muhammad Ali.Randy Turpin for SRR.Bonevena for Joe Frazier.Heck,Jimmy Ellis knocked Bonevena down twice!! And Frazier, who destroyed Ellis, could not knock down Oscar! Because styles make fights!

Uh ....yes he did. Just because it was a tough fight doesn't mean Frazier didn't clearly win it. There is a difference.

Claimed to have watched? Just because I don't remember who commentated on any fight i watched don't mean i didn't watch the fight.I could list many fights i have watched that i don't remember who called the fight.

                      Just a few examples....Ali-Chuvulo 1 and 11.Ali-Mildenburger.Foreman-Lyle.Frazier Quarry 11.Frazier-Bonevena 11.I could go on.
