Prime Oscar De La Hoya vs. Prime Julio Cesar Chavez

If they fought in their primes..who would win and how? I personally feel like DLH would win by decision or maybe late round stoppage.

hmm I guess 140 since that was when JCC was in his prime. But then again dlh wasn't really into his prime til he was welterweight.

Why do people insist Chavez' prime was at JWW? Just because he fought the majority of his fights there? He was far better at lightweight and JLW.

BTW-Was it Meldrict Taylor who had him beat and the fight got stopped with just 2 seconds left?

Dlh was simply too big for julio.....

Look guys. DLH would have been TOO big for any version of JULIO. SORRY! I was a huge fan of JULIO'S but he was TOO small for the much larger and skilled and smart DLH.

Yes it was Taylor. In my opinion it was a good stoppage. We were just arguing this about a week ago on here.

Their primes don't really match up weight wise. If I'm picking a 135 or 140 Chavez vs. De La Hoya, I'm taking Chavez, he has the mentality to win big fights Oscar seemed to lack.
