The greatest Cruiserweight fight of all time.

You can find the rest of the links yourself.

This is a real war.Thirty six minutes of violence rather than just three three of that overrated little scrap that was voted fight of the year in 1985.

Greater than Holyfield-Qawi,Eubank-Thompson and Mormeck-bell too

    Hearns demonstrated tremendous courage here.

I like Hearns and it was an entertaining scrap. But Holyfield-Qawi and Toney-Jirov were both better in my opinion.

      Holyfield-Qawi 1 and Jirov-Toney for me

Man, you know Evander lost 15lbs in that fight....Was in hospital too. He was peeing out his bodies muscle reserves because he used up all his energy stores or something. Read it in his book.

I enjoy this fight, proper scrap, but it is not the greatest because it was a blown up and past his prime Hearns, and Delgado will never be classed as a great, to be a top top fight you need 2 guys that are in their prime at their best weight slugging it out, this is 2 brave guys boxing with a lot of heart, personally I think the best is Mormeck - Bell

P.S. Hearns = legend (greatest era of boxing, end of!!)

Delgado was actually landing clean on Hearns cranium while Jirov was just throwing alot of arm punches and connecting at a very low percentage.

I have very little respect for James "fat" Toney but he made that fight what it was.

I was ringside for that fight and Jirov was landing plenty of thudding shots that you could have heard outside the fox theater, and his body work was amazing as usual. What he was throwing could hardly be called just arm punches.

You'll struggle to find someone with more heart than the great Tommy Hearns. One of the my all time favs. Love 'im!

Always entertaining and always brought out a fight.
