tbh, i dont follow their career and dont know much about them

ive never really sat down and watched a full fight of theres. total time of probs a 1.30

so who ranks higher and why

who in ur opinion will be a tougher fight for haye

Wlad has the edge in skills, youth and arguably a touch extra power. But he doesn't absorb a punch remarkably well and has had stamina issues in the past........not so much recently. He is rather more safety first than his brother.

Now Vitali seems to absorb a punch very well, he also fights at a higher pace than Wlad and seems to be more aggressive and exciting than his brother. He is getting on a bit now though!

I personally rate Vitali as the better of the two and certainly the tougher fight for Haye because he absorbs a blow so well and is dangerous throughout the distance. Haye would have a better chance against Wlad, a punchers chance at least as Wlad has been stopped a few times. Vitali has only been stopped by a cut and a shoulder injury whereas Wlad has been genuinely TKO'd/KO'd several times.

Personally I dont think Haye will beat either, but as a proud Brit I will be giving him my full support.

Back to topic, Wlad is the more accomplished boxer, but I bet Vitali used to beat him up at home..

this is a tough one in regards to haye

the brother with the weaker chin happens to be the techically sound one who uses his height and jab to cautiously stay out of harms way,and the brother with the iron chin is there to be hit but will throw a lot of big punches back at you,generally more aggressive than wlad

haye has a punchers chance against wlad and although i feel vitali can be outboxed due to his sloppy style,im not sure if haye can be the one to do it.but who knows,haye just needs to fight one of them,either one

Hi Sonnyboyx, I'm suprised you think Wlad is much better than Vitali.

Vitali seems much more your type of fighter, brave, solid chinned, gritty. You dont normally like the dainty chinned, safety first types like Wlad?

Granted Wlad does have the edge in skills but on a common opponents basis he looked worse against Sanders and Peter than Vitali. I guess Wlad looked better against Byrd though.....

Vitali by a mile:

Vitali is far tougher than Wlad.
Vitali has a far better chin than Wlad.
Vitali has far better stamina than Wlad.
Vitali is far more dangerous offensively than Wlad due to his much higher workrate.

Wlad gets kudos because he's a more polished than Vitali but unfortunately for Wlad that's a shallow assesment. Those advantages for Vitali listed above are MUCH more valuable in proffesional boxing than Wlad's superficial polish. This isn't the amatuers. How polished a fighter looks may play better in the ams but in the pros substance beats style every trip of the train.

Wladimir has accomplished more and has a superior resume than Vitali,but it is Vitali who is perhaps the tougher of the two to beat.


I think Vitali would beat virtually every single opponent on Wladimir's resume,but he hasn't, so Wladimir ranks higher.
