How many years have you been into the sweet science for?

I remember the 1st time I saw someone boxing. It was in the summer of 1957, when I was in the Newark Foster Home. During the summer they would bring us to Westfield, which was more country like. One day I walked around the corner of one of the buildings and saw one of the directors showing some kids how to box. I walked up and he asked me if I would like to try it out. I did and I fell in love with the sport.

So it will be 53 years ago this coming summer, and I have followed the sport ever since.

for a good 25 years. the first big fights that comes to mind was tyson/berbick, marvin hagler/john mugabi.

I've been watching it for about 34 years. Remember watching Ali-Frazier 3 with my father. Been following it closely since about '85 and started getting into it's history when I started fighting amateur in '89.

about 10 years....boxing has always been in my family. Only started watching newer boxers in about 04' up untill then I just knew about Ali's era.

Officially since 2003. Unofficially, I saw some of the big fights when my father had them on TV and it sounded like a big deal so I would come out to watch in the living room with everyone else.

I watched fights with my old man in the early 90's during the Benn - Eubank - Watson era.

But it was on off in all honestly. Watched fights here and there but the mid to 90's was pretty barren IMO.
