    Aaron Pryor Has Become Underrated!

In another thread, it says list these 5 fighters in order of greatness. They were De La Hoya, Locche, James Toney, Zarate, and Pryor.

And nearly everyone put Pryor last, and I cound't belive it.

In recent times every one around here says, Pryor is overrated. But not it has gone to far and he has become underrated.

The man was never beat in his prime. Beat 2 ATG fighters. Made 8 defences of his WBA 140lb Title all stoppages. Ruled the 140lb Division. Was also the number #1 Lightweight Contender.

Was also a world class amateur...........

He deserves more credit than he's getting around here........

Pryor was a great fighter, sad that his dependence on stimulants ruined his career. The problem is that he didn't just use them on his own time, he used them in the ring. Which is is a unfair advantage. Blame it on the times or even Panama Lewis, but either way it affects how people might rank him.

Pryor was a wonderful fighter to watch, but his resume is very weak. Both Cervantes and Arguello were at the end of long career and who's best days were behind them. If we judged greatness just by skill and tenacity, he'd be up there with the best. But you constantly have to prove yourself over and over to be an all time great in my opinion.
