    Great 126 pounders

Who were your favorite featherweights of all time? My personal favorite was the legendary salvador Sanchez. Sanchez was a great boxer who could slug if need be and got stronger as the fight went longer. His resume as champion was as good as any champion from his era. The world lost him too soon.
    Other great 126 pounders:
    Sandy Saddler
    Willie Pep
    Eusebio Pedroza
    Erik Morales
    Abe Attell

Your thoughts on these men and any others you feel were your favorite 126 pounders.

salvador sanchez is my favorite fighter of all time. the perfect blend of offense & defense. the smoothest operator i have ever seen. andre dirrell & andre ward could learn the proper way of not engaging from chava instead of running & spoiling.

so young yet so seasoned with his technique. he looks like he's been a champion for 10 years.

Salvador Sanchez was something special.. R.I.P

I think Prince Naseem derseves to be up there but maybe not top 5 but defintely top 5 for punch power

I think he made it happen for smaller men in late 90s, early 2000s to make big money and media interest

Vincente Saldivar deserves a mention, he was a thinking pressure fighter and a viscious body puncher and while he had a short career it was packed full of wins and fights against world class opposition:

          Ismael Laguna
          Sugar Ramos
          Howard Winstone 3x
          Jose Legra
          Johnny Famechon
          Dwight Hawkins
          Mitsunori Seki 2x
          Frankie Crawford

He is probably the most underrated Mexican fighter of all time.

My favorite featherweight is Willie Pep. He was a defensive genius and had the type movement that wasn't seen again until Ali came along.
