Reggie Johnson also dropped Antonio Tarver who's not easy to drop, in a fight I attended ringside.

Johnson was a good pro and a worthy opponent for anyone.

This was the most hurt I've seen Toney other than the Peter fight.

Although Peter didn't drop Toney in the first fight (and the KD in the rematch was a balance shot), I thought Toney was hurt a couple times in the first fight.

Agreed. Johnson was a pretty good fighter in his day. He had some skill and was a tricky southpaw at that.

Outside of the Roy Jones fight I don't think he was ever completely out of a fight with anyone. Whether it was Toney, Castro, Jackson or Tarver.

He won a couple of titles along the way as well.

Seriously underrated fighter who always fought in good company, and I believe was never stopped or KO'd.. Most of his defeats, including the one to Toney, were lost on split decisions that could have quite easilly have gone either way..
He beat men such as Lamar Parks, Steve Collins, Ole Klemensen & William Guthrie with comparitive ease..

One of my favorite Johnson moments is when he was thought of as a through fighter and he was brought in to showcase the talents of IBF Lt. heavy champ W. Guthrie. That was fun.
