Froch-Pascal was a relatively "unseen" fight and it was one of the best fights I've seen in the last 5 years. Seriously!

Hearns/Roldan - Both men rocked, historic fight, ends in style....

Medel/Jofre I - great two way action, both men hurt throughout....

Adamek/Briggs I & II - similar to the gatti/ward fights as far as two way action goes....

Minto/Maddalone I - toughman competition on crack, great ending....

Quartey/Espana - nice fight between two underrated welterweights....

Matthew Hilton-Buster Drayton: Great fifteen round war.

Bruce Curry-Monroe Brooks: Two tough guys slugging it out for contendership with a good knockout.

Aaron Davis-Mark Breland: Brutal war of attrition with great KO.

Frankie Duarte-Albert Davila II: Bloody fast paced war with many momentum changes. Great showing of heart by both men as well.

Orlando Canizales-Sergio Reyes I: Even though I thought that Reyes slugged his way to a clear victory over Canizales only to be robbed the entertainment of the fight cannot be denied.

Alfonso Zamora-Albert "Superfly" Sandoval: Fast paced fight where both guys get rocked.

Simon Brown-Tyrone Trice: Great back and forth war for the vacant IBF welterweight title.

Rafael Ruelas-Freddie Pendelton: Great lightweight fight, Ruelas gets off the deck twice in the first round and wins the fight barely by a great late round surge.

Micky Ward-Reggie Green: Great Espn fight, clash of styles that meshed well, in the end Ward just outwilled Green.

Leonard Dorin-Raul Balbi I-II: Both of their fights were entertaining, bloody and hard fought.

Carl Thompson-Chris Eubank I-II: Both fights were hard fought wars witht the bigger Thompson being ROCKED in both.

Caveman Lee-John LiCicero: Probably the greatest free TV fight ever.

Kevin Kelley-Troy Dorsey: Over 2000 punches thrown in this barnburner.

That was a great fight as well as Pascal's fight with Diaconu. Here is one that a few of you might remember, Fernando Montiel-Luis Melendez on the Vs Network. The fight was a brutal twelve round slugfest where both men hit the canvas, Montiel looked like he was going to lose until he rallied late and stopped Melendez. I don't remember much about the undercard, Vanes Matiryosan fought some guy named Dan and this might of been the night that Antillon stopped B. Pacquiao (though I am not sure). Vs cards are probably the best in boxing today (except for Tye Fields).

Think the 2nd was good but didn't quite reach the heights of Number 1.

One of my first fight memories along with Colin Jones/Don Curry and a very vague recollection of Larry Holmes - Ah the good ole days!
Like it was yesterday.. How was that cut on Jones's hooter!!

Really, any fight with Bobby Chacon or Matthew Saad Muhammad can't go wrong. Someone in charge of classic sports programming at a sports TV network should get a list of the fights in this thread.

Let's not try and be too obscure and go with fights only serious collectors and historians may know.

My pick is Dave "Boy" Mcauley vs Fidel Bassa (i forget the exact year - 80's) in an unbelievable up and down thriller.

Interested to hear your thoughts on any others but love to hear from anyone who saw the one I mentioned.
