I recall watching the fight at the time and thought Mercer beat Lewis.
I'll have to get around to rewatching it sometime.
I have one more. It is always said that Lewis avenged his defeats against Rahman and McCall in rematches, which should give his career more credit. I wonder how anyone with common sense could consider Lewis vs McCall II a serious fight, given what happened in the ring that night. How can Lewis, or anyone else for that matter, look at that as a regular fight?
