dominated this round with the jab
Round 3
10/8 round, Figueroa came out and tried to press Hearns
but got counted with a big right hand that put him down,
lovely punch, Figueroa got up but Hearns backed him to
the ropes landed devastating left hooks to the body and
finished Figueroa by nailing him with an uppercut up
the middle, very impressive by Hearns.

Hearns vs Shuler
Round 1
Hearns comes out and gets the jab going, gets hit with a single jab by
Schuler but starts to land his terrific left hook to the body, doubling it
then brining the right hand into play, Shuler seems hurt from one of them
and Hearns measure him for another that puts him on his back!
Hearns left hook to the body is such a hard punch, we know about the
right hand, devastating.

Tommy Hearns vs Harold Weston
Round 1 Hearns
Hearns dominating with the jab and countering
Weston with the counter left hook as he tried to get
inside, toward the end Hearns was dropping right hands
on him, one of them hurt him and so Hearns took it to
him on the ropes
Round 2 Weston (kind)
More spirited round by Weston as he put more pressure on
got to Hearn's body
Round 3 Hearns
Weston putting the pressure on but Hearns landing the jab
and picking him off with a right left combo as he presses on
Round 4 Hearns
Weston got nailed by Hearns with right hand left hooks
but toward mid to late rounds Hearns got caught himself
as he languished inside too long
Round 5 Weston
Not much in the round early but Weston put the pressure on
toward the end and went to the body
Round 6 Weston
Weston had a good round as he was able to get to Hearns
body inside and land his short left hook, Hearns cant stop
him getting inside at the moment and at times is languishing
inside too much imo.
Fight stopped, Weston unable to continue because of a swollen eye, i think!.
Hearns did not cope well with the pressure of Weston he seemed
to tire because of the heat and that helped Weston get inside more
and more, he also kept leaping off his feet when he threw the jab
ALA Larry Holmes. Weston showed a decent defense as he managed
to slip a lot of punches and come on strong and go to the body, Hearns
seemed to tire but i still think Hearns would of done enough to win, but it
would not have been easy.
October, 1981-Marvin Hagler vs Mustafa Hamsho.
A one-sided shellacking. Hagler won every round by boxing and connecting with one of the great right jabs in boxing history. Hamsho's entire face was a crimson mask, and by the time the ref stopped the fight in the 11th round, he had taken so many jabs and left crosses that one would think his career would never be the dsame. The fact is, hamsho became a better fighter after this beating. This fight eerily reminded me of the beating SRR gave Lamotta in the valentines day massacre. Hamsho stayed on his feet the entire fight.
