It should probably be GOATs, since the issue can never rest at just 1. But if you said: "In no order, it is Langford, Greb and Robinson," there would likely be less to dispute. Another way is divisional GOATs.

Yeah Sam, Harry and ray seem to be the top 3. They seem to tick more boxes than anyone. Could make a case for ezzard Charles at 4 then it’s prob another 20 guys interchangeable

Charles has an insane resume for sure, he’s very underrated. I think Marciano tainted his image.

He had some spectacular features as a fighter, but he is not better than Floyd.

damn Yo, What about Armstrong or Pep? Armstrong won the featherweight title. Then jumped up the Welterweight. Came back down to lightweight winning that title as well. Held all 3 belts at the same time.

Armstrong is an odd one. He did so many amazing things in a short space of time but then he was beaten twice by zivic and then lost to Reuben shank? He falls just behind the big 3 on longevity. He shined brightly but for a few years.

I think Greb and Langford, separated from their extensive, respective mythologies, would seem more human to us and less supermen. The more visual information you have on a subject, the more there is to potentially criticize. See more know more. We never got to see their faults, we only hear about their fighting from their mythologies. Anyone writing about Greb never saw him fight either, so what they do is add to the surrounding mythology, perhaps here and their updating and correcting any mistaken "facts" that have come to light since the last guy's book.

Try to imagine our view of Robinson if there were no supporting film evidence but only the Robinson mythology to go by.

Armstrong has a case to be included in the top 4/5 P4P.

                    In no order
