Never been to any boxing match live. But in my 20's and 30's, I paid the closed circuit fee to see about every big fight I could from wherever I was. I remember going over to Aloha stadium for Ali/Frazier III, and driving to Redding For Hearns/Leonard 1,and to Eureka for Duran/Leonard 2. A couple of us drove to Oakland to watch that one.I was in San Francisco for Ali/Bugner. Not expected to be a great fight, but the under card was pretty good. Galindez vs Ahumada and Monzon vs Licata were the under card fights.

Don King and Lou DiBella were there. Place was surrounded by federalies in riot gear m16’s and german sheppards.
I got to sit next to Rodger The Dodger Leonard at a fight. Friendly, likeable, really added to the experience. Let me try on one of Sugar Rays championship rings.
Id have loved to have seen any of the Gatti Wards live! Even the sports I don’t follow have been great to see in person. The Vasquez vs Marquez fights would have been insane too live, though I think it can take a lot out of you.
Watching the latest Munguia vs Dev. fight was crazy from the opening bell. Morales was my favourite fighter so I cheer hard for Jaime. I was exhausted by the end of that fight.
Or the Morales-Barrera fights live, especially the third
