So many boxing sanctioning bodies and so many diamond, silver, gold titles I need some verification of what the heck it means.

Below are the titles that Manny Pacquiao won during his career. Which are actual "World titles"? (Sorry about the ****ty formatting)

The alphabet soup Ogs. get a sanctioning fee for every championship fight under their organization. How can any belt represent a real title when there are so many "champions?" I don't buy lineal as a criterion, either. I came to the position that they are all champs, or none are. Even if they were awarded the championship by their Org. This goes for interim champs as well. Ask me on Tuesday, and I will say they are all champs. Ask me on Wednesday and all of boxing is a farce with no champions unless they have defeated every reasonable challenge.

All scantioning bodies that begin with "W" are corrupt; all bodies that begin with an "I" currently have members in prison. . . . Maybe it's the other way round?

Put your ear to the ground and listen for the big fights, the fan base usually has a good feel for who are the real champions.

No doubt at one point PAC Man was a true champion, and will probably be remembered as an ATG. Good enough.

Counting belts is for geeks who like to argue so as to show off their 'knowledge.'

Yes, it seemed that an International title is watered down world title. Even if the international title has the word world in it.
