JCChavez Jr vs Anderson Silva an Historical Bout.

    - -Say what you will about Junior, he ruined Sergio Martinez for the rest of his shortened career with a single punch and currently sports a 52-5-1, 34 KO record.

Anderson a genuine UFC legend the greatest name from that discipline to grace the boxing ranks. That makes this historical in the here and now.

Guess Ali the greatest boxer to grace the MMA ranks was helpless and had to be hospitalized in critical condition after his Antonio Inoki fight. James Toney the greatest boxer to grace the UFC ranks that made Anderson famous ended up as an easy dump for Randy Couture with all due deference to me aulde buddy Boozo who probably had to be admitted into critical care after that disaster.

I'm picking Junior for the obvious reasons in what appears to be a legit 8 rd fight, but could Anderson do a Logan Paul on Junior? Would boxing be diminished?

We almost had Roy Jones Jr near the top of his game vs Anderson but for Dana killing that fight, but will the UFC and Boxing #1s ever meet in the ring and octagon? It could've happened, so I'm guessing if the $$$ is right, we may well see it sooner than later.

    But when?

It makes you a bonafide halfwit for caring about this one, not the match historical.

Chavez Jr didn't even make weight.

Just another meaningless exhibition with no bearing on historical standings.

        - - Jr 2 lbs over a catchweight fight just like his l'il bro Son of Senior. Unlike l'il bro going against a lightwt moving up to welter, Jr going against the biggest fighter that he ever fought that yields real boxrec rankings at the culmination of the fight.

Anderson did quite well for an ol'dude skeetering around helter skelter in between raking Jr. My card reads 4-1 rds for Anderson with 3 even.

Anderson the best MMA fighter to ever grace a boxing ring makes the bout historical...Duh!!!
