could you call Sven Ottke a top 25 amature of all time???

Right forget about his pro career. i'am strictly talking about his amatue Accomplishments. i've just been debating to a friend that says no way can you call ottke a top 25 amature of al time, not even in consideration, which i said you could. Ottke was one hell of a amature

    Amateur Record: 256-47-5
    World Amateur Championships
    Bronze 1989 Moscow Middleweight
    European Amateur Championships
    Gold 1991 Gothenburg Middleweight
    Bronze 1993 Bursa Light Heavyweight
    Gold 1996 Vejle Middleweight
competed at 3 Olympic Games. 88, 92 and 96, reaching the quarters.

    Ottke held amateur wins over
    Antonio Tarver(World amature champion)
    ,
Chris Byrd (1992 OLYMPIC Silver medalist)

Juan Carlos Gomez(Gold Medal winner World Junior Championships)

Michael Moorer(1986 Light Middleweight Bronze Medalist at the GoodwillGames and 1986 United States Amateur Light Middleweight Champion)

Zsolt Erdei (Olympic Games Bronze 2000 Sydney Middleweight, World Amateur Championships Gold 1997 Budapest Middleweight
    European Amateur Championships
    Silver 1996 Vejle Middleweight
    Gold 1998 Minsk Middleweight
    Gold 2000 Tampere Middleweight)

Henry Maske(Olympic Gold Medalist 88,World amature champion 1986 and 1989)

Now Ottke beat all of these fighters in the amature and all were oustanding world class amature's) they are all amzaing wins

And how about this for impresive Ottke stopped cuban Ramón Garbey in 92 and the year later Garbey would go on to win the world amature championships.

Now put his pro career aside do you belive Ottke has a claim to be in the top 25 amature boxers of all time???

Here is some of his amature record also and if you click on some of the names sven is beating most are world class...

    WHAT DO YOU THINK???

personally i do think he could be a top 25 amature and definatly in consideration, no dout
