    Jake LaMotta in his prime

    vs Joey DeJohn

Well, to be honest it's not exactly LaMotta in his prime. I'd say that LaMotta was at his best from 1943-1946. This film is from 1949, a month before LaMotta beat Marcel Cerdan to win the world middleweight title.

    LaMotta vs Cerdan

great post, jake's one of my favourites on his day he could of beat any of the middleweights and lightheavies, you dont fight sugar ray 6 times unless there close hard fights, also even when he was past his best still had enough in the tank to beat cerden and make 2 title defence's. La motta and murphy 2 is one of my favouite lightheavyweight battles. There was talk of lamotta vs maxim for the lightheavyweight, how do you think that would of went?
