"no fights from the 50s or anything" that rules out robinson vs lamotta, and archie moore yvon durelle, but yeah okay newer era, mugabi vs hagler, duran vs barkley, castillo corrales, vasquez vs marquez, hearns vs hagler, theres been loads tbh lol so difficult to say
ive been a boxing fan for a little bit about 2 or 3 years. vazquez/marquez 3 has been the greatest fight ive seen. if i were a fan in the late 80's early 90's, chavez/taylor no question. i imagined ive wouldve passed out from the drama/excitement
Maybe not the best I've seen, but I'm still glowing from a fight I caught last night:
Tony Margarito vs Antonio Diaz
Imagine 10 rounds of non-stop work on both parts.
It's like Marg was fighting another Marg. Neither would budge
up until the very end. NO CLINCHING, just barrage after barrage.

The best fight I ever saw live on televison was Bobby Chacon-Bazooka Limon IV. A close second would be James Toney-Vassiliy Jirov
On live tv or in person. Probably Margarito Cotto. I remember thinking, how could it ever go one more round like that... It would have to be Mayweather Hatton, Cotto-Malignaggi, Cotto-Judah, Gatti- Ward 1.
