My great uncle fought Gene Fullmer in the amateurs and won a couple of golden gloves. That's about it. I don't know if he won or lost (assumed he lost) since he's dead now and I can't ask him.

my grandpa boxed amateur from age 13 or 14 until around 25, he had lots of fights, some proper scheduled amateur bouts and other bouts for small amounts of money...which would technically mean he had several pro fights but they werent recorded professional fights
he beat the former light heavyweight army champ on points...my grandpa was a welterweight lol he fought lots of bigger guys.. he was also a trainer for a while...he was the one who first gave me an appreciation for boxing

my other grandpa had 3 fights and won them all, but stopped and then got involved again as a trainer which suited him more

my uncle fought a few times at age 10, stopped for like ten years then had like 10 or 15 more amateur fights in his 20's won nearly all in a row too, even considered a long term pro prospect but had to stop because of a footballing injury to his head

my other uncle fought once, knocked this kid out in like 20 seconds and just stopped fighting no ****ing idea why apparently he had crazy talent for a dude who had one fight

my cousin had one fight ,lost

my other cousin has had like 10 fights and is doing quite well, held state novice title and his only losses have been by like one or two points to guys like a stone heavier and some were like ten years older (hes 18)

and then theres me lol with 3 fights going to state and national titles at end of year

so yeah boxings certainly in my blood

Man, he had some great fights with Zaragoza! Some of the best fights in recent years of the feathers. Good stuff.

My family has had a fair bit of fighting blood. My father fought a lot and was the Aus champ in the flyweight division. He was a great fighter and taught me when I was a wee little tacker growing up.

My grandads second cousin was Patrick Cowdell.

he lost a close 15 round split decision to salvador sanchez when he was knocked down in the last round and got kncoked out cold in the first round against azumah nelson for the wbc featherweight title.

im his second coming but not in the featherweight division. maybe weltwerweight or middleweight.
