Jones was Ali got caught too many times and actually looked beatable against lesser opponents even in his prime, where as Jones never looked beatable in his prime and never allowed his opponents to hit him with a flush shot.

Different fighters would have success at boxing Jones from the outside and timing him on the way in. I have never seen a peak Ali out boxed before. So, my pick would be Ali for the better outside boxer.
