Good points, Gravity. It's true that there is a huge misconception about LaMotta as he only KO'd every one in about eight opponents.

People were excited for Money vs. Hatton because the idea was that Hatton was such an aggressive swarmer that Money would have nowhere to run. Except when Hatton was knocked out, which wouldn't happen to LaMotta.

I'm guessing because of the film Raging Bull, LaMotta has a reputation as being some big puncher without much skill or defense.

He wasn't a big puncher, but he was good at rolling with shots and hiding behind his shoulder to avoid punches. He seemed to have a nice jab too, watch the 6th fight with Robinson and see how many times LaMotta caught Robinson with the double jab.

He (Jake Lamotta) rarely ever knocked anybody out and had bad hands, then all of a sudden he KO's Floyd? I just don't see that ever happening. This would've been a battle right down to the finish. Mayweather wins 9 close rounds to 6.

la mota was extremly over-rated. his record speaks for itself... out of all the robinson fights, 7 of them, he only won one fight. he rarely knocked people out but he did have good technique and skill, however an amazing chin. floyd is better pfp and would ud him.

Neither fighters were known for their punching power. Although, a lot of people that fought Mayweather has said that he hits much harder then it looks. I think Floyd would be able to land a lot of effective shots throughout the whole fight which might build up to a KO in the late rounds.

                Mayweather stopping LaMotta?

                What?

Robinson could crack as a middleweight and used him as target practice for 3 rounds, and still, LaMotta was stopped on his feet.

Mayweather has decent power, as a welter.

Its nice when people even hint at LaMotta getting KO'd when he was never down once in his whole career and why would Money be the guy of the ages to do it?

Rounds 11 to 13 of the St. Valentine Day's Massacre is one of the most amazing displays of punch resistance I've seen.

It was just disgusting and Robinson was hitting him everything: left hooks, right uppercuts, left hookercuts, vicious body shots, looping right hands, etc....LaMotta still somehow stayed on his feet.

You know the first guy Lamotta fought in Raging Bull...the black guy fought Lamotta 3 times and won 2?Did you know that guy was a bum?Did you know the real fight was nothing like that movie fight?Did you now that bum dominated Lamotta pretty much the whole first and second fight?Did you know Sugar Ray Robinson is a overrated joke who avoided fighting any black fighters he knew he couldn't beat?Did you know most of Robinsons opponents were slow unskilled fighters like Lamotta?Did you Know Lamotta would probably be a super middleweight if he fought today so beating a overrated 140 or so pound fighter doesn't prove much?
Did you know Floyd Mayweather himself is overrated?Did you know Junior Witter had been calling him out for years but he avoided him like the plague?Did you know Castillo probably beat Mayweather in their first fight and maybe in their second?Did you know Ricky Hatton is another overrated european fighter who is only known because he beat a past his prime Kostya Tszyu who was knocked out years before by that ******* head Vince Phillips.Did you know De La Hoya ****** and is only popular because he is hispanic?Did you know that De La Hoya loses pretty much every time he gets in the ring with a white or black warrior who doesn't suck.Did you know Mayweather beating him proved jack squat?Do you know that if this fight could happen it would boring just like every other Mayweather fight?
