A virtual tie. Frazier had the more aesthetic delivery - the classic "Philadelphia" left hook, which had a wider arc, as opposed to Tyson's more compact and effective version. Upon further review, I'd give a slight edge to Tyson's, which did a tad more damage.

As long as you're talking about Heavy Weights, you gotta throw David Tua in the mix. But the best Left Hook....Iron Mike. Tyson threw it In Combo's, Smokin Joe was bad ass too!

Joe Frazier

Tyson had the better arsenal with devastating uppercuts and an underrated jab along with left hook-right hook combinations. But his left hook doesn't match Joe's IMO. Accurate, fast and powerful, everyone was prepared for it but they still couldn't avoid it.

Gotta go with smoking joe.
His left hook was perfect, it looked so natural when he pivoted on his hips and **** unleashed a perfect left hook.
tysons was mean though esspecially when used in combos.
But if its only based on the left hook then joe wins hands down.
