        • The Brawl in Montreal (Durán vs. Leonard I)
        • Tyson vs. Rudduck (better if 2, best if 3)
        • Castillo vs. Corrales (best of 3)
        • Barrera vs. Morales (best of 3)
        • Gatti vs. Ward III

          1. Muhammad Ali - George Foreman (Ali a big underdog)
          2. Meldrick Taylor - Julio Cesar Chavez (such a dramatic fight)
          3. Muhammad Ali - Joe Frazier 3 (settled Ali Frazier)
          4. Carmen Basilio - Sugar Ray Robinson (great, old school fight
          5. Marvin Hagler - Thomas Hearns (The War)
          6. Diego Corrales - Jose Luis Castillo (greatest comeback ive seen in sporting)
          7. Ray Leonard - Thomas Hearns (great fight, great comeback)
          8. Willie Pep - Sandy Saddler (Sandy Saddler was much bigger than Pep, Pep won0
9.Ray Leonard - Marvin Hagler (wow nobody believed Leonard could do it)
          10. James Buster Douglas - Mike Tyson (Tyson was invincible until this fight)

Fights ranked based on overall quality, back and forth action, and importantly, significance. A few fights, like Gatti Ward were left out, I know. I didn't leave them out because they weren't great fights, but they weren't significant title fights.

            1. Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier 1-Fight of the Century, better than the third fight in my opinion, they were both closer to prime. Features the seeming best Heavyweight of all time. Have to have this one. Heavyweight
            2. Marvin Hagler vs. Thomas Hearns- Named 'The War', features possibly the best Middleweight of all time. Extremely exciting while it lasted. Middleweight
            3. Diego Corrales vs. Jose Luis Castillo- Everyone loves this fight, you just have to have it. Ending is pretty much legendary Lightweight
            4. Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Meldrick Taylor- Two extremely good fighters, tons of damage by both guys, and an amazing and controversial ending. Not to mention both these guys could be seen as the best 140lb fighters of all time. Named the Fight of the Decade. sounds good to me. Light Welterweight
            5. Roberto Duran vs. Sugar Ray Leonard 1-Features possibly the best Lightweight of all time against the best Welterweight of all time. It was great to watch too. Should have this one. Welterweight
            6. Matthew Saad Muhammad vs. Yanqui Lopez II- Actually I mostly only chose this one because I couldnt think of any other huge Light Heavyweight matchups in the past 45 years...but this was a very fun one to watch, and Matthew Saad Muhammad may have been one of the best Light Heavyweights of all time Light Heavyweight
            7. Evander Holyfield vs. Dwight Muhammad Qawi 1- This was just an incredibly exciting fight, and Evander is possibly the best Cruiserweight of all time. Good enough for me. Cruiserweight
            8. Alexis Arguello vs. Aaron Pryor 1- Probebly the best Super Featherweight of all time against one of the best 140lb fighters of all time, and it was a good one. Light Welterweight
            9. Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Erik Morales 1-Probebly the two best Super Bantamweights of all time face off against each other, and they really did a number on each other. They would never physically be the same after this match Super Bantamweight
            10. Gerald McClellan vs. Nigel Benn- This may have been a very sad fight considering what happened...but it did happen, so we should give the fight it due. This was an absolute slugfest. It was controversial because of the questionable reffing. It was probebly the best 168lb fight of all time, and McClellan and Benn were both some of the best 168lb fighters ever. Super Middleweight

Like another guy said, some fights were great, but not between all time great great fighters. I think this list not only has some of the most exciting fights of all time, but also looks at all the major weight classes and a lot of the best fighters of all time. and also within the last 45 years

you have rocky marciano as the best heavy weight no way

how can you call marciano the best because he retired undefeated so what he only defended his title 5 times larry holmes 20 defenses ali and joe louis also had more title defenses than him you cant base your decision on the fact that he retired undefeated that would rule out to many better fighters than the rock and would also mean you know nothing about the sweet science. marciano was good but not the best.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
