We do know that Patterson could pack a whollop amongst the heavyweights (see: Johansson II), though Robinson was simply the greatest boxer ever. I'd have to give the edge to Pat with his size, power, and he had quick hands for his size.

patterson via 2nd round brutal ko. patterson had just as fast hands as robinson and at the weight they would fight at, patterson would be quite a bit faster and alot stronger.

Patterson in two rounds or less. That is all.

Ray Robinson is my all time favorite fighter.

That being said, if he and Patterson fought in their respective primes, Patterson KO's him.

Styles make fights. I would say that Robinson would have a better chance of beating a heavyweight who was slower than Patterson, one of history's all time fastest punchers. That would be the key to me. Floyd's whiskers were weak, but not THAT weak that a welterweight - middleweight would stop him.

Antonim, you've been coming up with some neat match ups. Good job.
