it was not close at all, hagler dominated from start to finish, duran was wobbled through out the fight, hagler was close to 45 years of age at the time and his skills were diminished, but he was still able to beat the highly overrated duran with ease

according to him he was 30 but some people in the boxing circles said he was much older, even if he was in his mid 40s he still was a good fighter and just man handled duran with ease

That would make Marvin in his mid-70s today if your bulls**t was correct..i have seen a couple of recent interviews from Marvin of late and he looks his correct age which is mid-50s

even if hagler was aged,he still clowned duran, duran stuck his chin out a few times and the aging hagler levelled him with stiff jabs and right hand crosses

going into the last round the fight was 7rds apiece with Hagler taking the final round and the victory

have you been following this thread the judges were on cloud nine, watch the fight and you will for your self see what a sham the decision was,the judges saw hagler probably with his older looking appearance and thought he was getting thumped, but it was the ageless hagler doing the thumping that night hagler got the win but it should of been by a shut out

Hagler showed his schizophrenic stylistic tendencies in this bout, fighting tentatively throughout and showing Duran far more respect than was warranted. Hagler allowed it to be closer than it should have been through passivity.

i think is aging had a lot to do with his schizophrenic stylistic tendencies,he was not fighting like the way he fought against vito, but duran was not a threat to hagler at all from start to finish
