AGON Sports in Berlin, Germany, went ahead as planned with two shows in two days but it was with mixed results.

On Saturday, February 25, heavyweights Granit Shala (13-0) and Jack Mulowayi (13-3-1) were to do battle for the vacant EU title but according to a short statement from AGON Shala, the house fighter, was injured and unable to fight. More info is to come.

In the co-feature, IBF I-C super welter champ Haro Matevosyan (17-0) retained the title with a unanimous points win over Mexican Alejandro Davila (23-5-2). After twelve it was scored 117-111 on all cards.

Friday night, also at the AGON Sports Arena, middleweight Bjorn Schicke (20-2-1) was stopped by Chilean Julio Alamos (16-0) in a fight for the vacant IBO I-C title. Schicke was floored twice in the fourth. It was a big win for Alamos who had his first fight outside of Chile.

In the second headliner Italian middleweight Etinosa Oliha (17-0) made his debut for AGON and stopped Rafael Amarillas Ortiz (16-5-1) from Mexico in the sixth and won the vacant WBO I-C belt.

In Munich, February, 25 former WBA Interim and IBO light heavyweight champ Robin Krasniqi (52-7) came back and stopped Belgian Timur Nikarkhoev in the sixth. Krasniqi is now trained by another former world champ in Juergen Braehmer.

On the same bill Shefat Isufi (37-4-2) retained the WBFed light heavyweight title with a split decision over Argentinian Hernan David Perez (9-9-0).

New School Promotions staged a show in Algyo, Hungary, and had super middleweight Mate Kis on top of the bill and he outscored tough French-Armenian brawler Armen Ypremyan and won the vacant IBO International title. After ten it was scored 97-93 on all cards.

WBC International Bridgerweight champion Kem Ljungquist (14-0) was ringside on Saturday night in Holstebro for the Thorslund vs Lopez event.

Kem's injured thumb is healing well and he is getting ready for the showdown against Sefer Seferi (25-3-1) May 14 on the big market in Nysted. The show will be staged in a big tent with free entrance and will begin at noon - and must be over by 4 PM due to other activities. 

Ljungquist will this time go for the vacant IBF International heavyweight title.
