Promoter Erol Ceylan and his European Commitment Boxing have announced that they will reduce activity in 2021. EC Boxing have 20-25 boxers more or less under contract but most will be free agents effective immediately. In a press release EC mentioned that heavyweight prospect Viktor Faust will remain in the stable while WBA 'regular' heavyweight champion Manuel Charr isn't mentioned.
EC also won purse bids to stage the fight for the vacant EBU light heavyweight title between Igor Mikhalkin and Callum Johnson but if that fight will happen is an open question.
Decent heavyweights such as Christian Hammer, Ali Eren Demirezen and Erkan Teper are also in the stable - or perhaps one should say was.
