Szpilka was down in the third and fifth but still won a majority decision over the unsung UkrainanSergeyRadchenko (7-6). It was scored 95-93, 95-92 and 94-94 and reports from the fight indicate that a robbery took place.
In other action new Polish stars Fedor Czerkaszyn (16-0) and Pawel Stepien (13-0-1) again impressed. Czerkazyn stopped the always tough Patrick Mendy (18-16-3) in the seventh and Stepien outscored veteran Geard Ajetovic (31-24-2) over eight.
