Newly crowned IBO and WBA interim light heavyweight champion Dominic Boesel (30-1) is now a former EBU title holder.
Official challenger Igor Mkikhalkin will now face the highest ranked available fighter for the vacant title. Mikhalkin, like the man Boesel beat this past weekend in Sven Fornling, is promoted by EC Boxing.
As for Fornling he is now at home in Malmoe, Sweden, resting and will make a decision about his future in about two months.
Niklas Rasanen (14-2-1) returns as been previously reported on the Salo Knockout Night in Salo, Finland, on November 30. As for opponent it will be tough Frenchman David Radeff (9-15-2) and the fight is made at 183 lbs which means that Niklas steps up in weight and David down.
WBC super featherweight champ and Niklas Rasanen´s wife Eva Wahlstrom will appear in a non-title fight but the deal for the defence against Terri Harper is done with date and site to be announced.
