Junior middleweight Erislandy Lara (15-1, 10KOs) finally has a fight on his hands. The Cuban boxer has been inactive since a controversial decision loss to Paul Williams on July 9th. He returns on February 11th against the son of a legend, Ronald Hearns (26-2, 20KOs), at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Lara's fight is a co-feature to the Showtime televised main event between welterweights Andre Berto and Victor Ortiz

krikya360.com: Hey Erislandy, congrats on your next fight. What do you think of Hearns?

Thank you. I think Hearns is a good fighter. He comes from a family background in boxing. He's a good puncher like his father and we will work on the right strategy to dominate him on February 11.

krikya360.com: Are you disappointed that you are not fighting Paul Williams?

No. Williams is the one who should be disappointed. I beat him and the world knows it let's move on to other fights. If he wants a rematch after this fight - I'm open to it. We could do winner takes all, you know what I'm saying. I've never turned down anybody! The big boss [Golden Boy CEO] Richard Schaefer has huge plans for me in 2012 and I won't let him down. I want Sergio Martinez in 2012.

krikya360.com: Who would you like next?

I'm fighting this fight at 157 so I could move to 160 to fight Martinez. I could go down to 147 to fight the winner of Berto-Ortiz 2. Also, I would love to fight the winner of Kirkland vs Molina at 154. I'm willing to fight anyone in 3 different weight classes. There's many options out there and I'll leave that to my manager Luis Decubas Jr.

krikya360.com: There isno doubt you are willing to fight the best. I sure hope one of them decide to fight you. Your thoughts?

Look, you can run but you can't hide forever. That goes for anyone from 147 to 160 pounds. I want to fight the best. I will stay sharp against Hearns who I respect for accepting to fight me not to many are willing as we all know and I will keep working hard in the gym and my time will come.

krikya360.com: In closing?

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. I'm in camp training hard and really want to shine on February 11. I would like to thank my manger and Golden Boy for putting me on this huge card at the MGM Grand. I want to send love to all my family, friends and fans across the world. Make sure you tune in to watch a great card on February 11 on Showtime.
