Edgar Sosa (44-7, 27KOs) is already going through the very tough hurdles of his training camp, preparing for what he expects to be a very tough fight against Wilbert "Hurricane" Uicab (33-6-1, 18KOs), which is scheduled for April 7th in Cancun. The bout, taking place at the Oasis Hotel Complex, will have the vacant WBC International Silver flyweight title at stake.

"I expect a tough fight, so I'm preparing very hard. I run on the hill of Martin Carrera and go to the gym. Uicab is a great fighter, but he won't be an obstacle to regain a flyweight world title," Sosa said.

"I have to keep on track to become a world champion. Uicab has a respectable punch, he never tries to shy away from exchanges. The fight is appealing and the fans will be happy. I'll be a hundred percent ready and I'm sure the WBC will appoint neutral judges."

Another factor in the fight is the intense heat of Cancun.

"I'm not worried about that. I defeated [Luis] Lazarte in Argentina. I have also fought in Veracruz and in Bangkok, which have similar climates. In two weeks, I will begin boxing with my sparring partners. My victory will be strong," Sosa said.
