Dario Morello and Yassin Hermi will contest the vacant Italian middleweight title on May 17 in Milan, Italy.

The 31-year-old Morello, 24-1 (4KOs), most recently defeated his fellow Italian Felice Moncelli in November. His sole defeat came against the Britain-based South African Luther Clay in 2019.

Hermi, 23, is 15-2-1 (12KOs) having recorded his second defeat in his past fight, via decision against Serkay Comert of Turkey in December.

The welterweight fight between Tunisia’s Akrem Aouina, 12-1 (5KOs), and Mirko Geografo, 19-1-2 (1KO) and also of Italy, represents the chief support.

There will also be a heavyweight fight between the 2-0 (2KOs) Diego Lenzi – the Paris 2024 Olympian – and Alfonso Damiani, who is 7-8 (2KOs).

The promotion will be overseen by The Art of Fighting.
