Anthony Crolla is expected to return to the ring in a couple of months' time.
The former WBA lightweight world champion has been out of action since his victory on the last Anthony Joshua card in March.
Crolla scored a unanimous decision victory over Edson Ramirez at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and was afterwards considered a realistic future opponent for the current WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko.
Boxing Scene understands that, while Lomachenko is set to face Jose Pedraza in December, Crolla is set to be placed in a final eliminator to face the Ukrainian on the undercard of Tony Bellew's undisputed cruiserweight championship challenge against Oleksandr Usyk.
Bomber' will take on Lomachenko's pal Usyk at Manchester Arena on November 10, exclusively live on Sky Sports Box Office and DAZN in the United States.
And it is believed that the 31-year-old will be pitted against Daud Yordan on the card, with the winner getting a money-spinning showdown against the winner of Lomachenko versus Pedraza, who is the current WBO champion at the weight.
The Indonesian, who is the same age as Crolla, is the current WBO Inter-Continental lightweight champion and has a record of 38-3 with 26 early.
Boxing Scene understands that promoter Hearn is keen to add the rematch for the British featherweight title between holder Ryan Walsh and challenger Isaac Lowe to the card, with a plethora of other supporting cast outings set to be revealed in due course.
In other news, Sam Bowen is set to defend his British super-featherweight title against Ronnie Clark.
Bowen will make the first defence of his Lonsdale belt against the Dundee man on October 6, exclusively live on BT Sport, at the Morningside Arena in Leicester after his new promoter Frank Warren won the purse bids to stage the contest.
And Ryan Garner will also return to the ring on the card in Leicester which is topped by Jack Catterall’s WBO super-lightweight world title eliminator against Ohara Davies and also features Nicola Adams in a clash for the vacant WBO interim female flyweight title against Isabel Millan.
