Former WBC light flyweight world champion, Adrian "Confessor" Hernandez (29-3-1, 18KOs), took some time off after losing the title in Japan to carefully reflect on his future, and he's decided to move up to the flyweight division. 

Hernandez explains that in the light flyweight division his body was resenting the sacrifice of the hard sessions to maintain his weight, so now at flyweight he feels appreciably stronger and faster.

"Confessor" won the WBC light flyweight title on April 30, 2011, when he defeated Gilberto Keb Baas by TKO in eleven rounds. He then lost his crown against Thai Kompayak Porpramook in December of that same year in Thailand.

Adrian won his rematch against Porpramook, on October 6th, 2012, by knocking him out in Mexico. After making four successful defenses, he traveled to Japan where he was defeated in the sixth round by Naoya "Monster" Inoue.

Throughout his career, Adrian has proved to be a fighter who does not give up, even if he is on the canvas, For that reason, he is a credible and admirable contender for a new crown- this time in the flyweight division, in which Japan's Akira Yaegashi is the World Champion.
