You do realize Mundine was once ranked #2 by Ring Magazine at 168. Shane Mosely, Oscar De La Hoya, Roy Jones Jr, Roy Jones Sr, and Bernard have all said Mundine is a great fighter.



Mundine is respected by lots of people, he never started boxing until the age 25 and became a 2 time world champion. That should earn everyone's respect

Decent fighter who has done well for himself despite starting at a late age.

I personally think his father Tony was better, more skilled and talented, and he fought everybody. His weakness was his suspect chin which let him down many times.

I don't know about that, Tony was a little inconsistet. Anthony is more skilled, and has said in the past he was a better fighter than his Dad was.

Altough Tony Sr was a good fighter who defeated Emille Griffith.

No he isnt. He got ktfo by featherfist Sven Ottke, lost to Manny Siaca and lost to Mikkell Kessler. I don't hate the guy but to think that he is great or even that good is ridicilous, decent is a description that fits Anthony Mundine perfectley. He is not great and he is not terrible = decent.

You ever boxed? In my mind Kessler only beat him by 3 points and he was completey outboxing Ottke after only 10 Pro fights with no amature and got caught with a lucky punch.

He shound't have fought against Siaca, his ankle was in a terrible state,, but Mundine chose to fight still and I tought he still won.

Yes I have, but that has nothing to do with whetever how good Anthony Mundine is. You would just love it if I said "nah i never even stepped in the ring, i just love to hate on mundine 24/7" wouldn't you? I have had 11 amatuer fights with 4 losses, but what does that have to do with anything? do I have to be greater than anthony mundine to say anything bad about him? huh?

I don't hate Mundine, Im just telling it like it is. He is not that special, he is just a decent fighter thats all. Not great, not terrible but decent.
