Change of heart about women police

I did think they'd be more apt to use a gun because they stood no chance vs a man physically, now I'm thinking just how brutal can a woman be? Might be a better idea to have weaker women out there with mace and guns with rubber bullets than macho men.

Can't see a woman pushing some old man down and other women just walking by. Women aren't like that. A woman with her knee on......nay!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife is far sweeter than I am, just like all of you readiing this women are than you. They have more compassion not so *******-ish.

Wife likes to keep a feeder for hummingbirds, wants every kitten, puppy she see's, she has soft and mellow thoughts, we need those kinds of people out there, dump dumbass cowboys, you have seen too many John Wayne movies.

An all woman police force, hmmmmm?

Every cop in the station has his record right there on a big board for all to see, if they get one complaint, a warning, two complaints a week off without pay, a third complaint, see ya! And the whole world knows where you stand.

Theres pros and cons.I agree women tend to be more non violent due to their biological make up but the brutality which policing throws up can be a disadvantage.I remember seeing some footage of 2 women police trying to arrest a man and he just threw them around like rag dolls with one police officer seriously injured.

Its the law of the nature.Bigger physique helps in the police force but ideally needs to be backed up with equal measure in the mindset of someone hence a good consciousness.

I remember when I was younger for instance on the London tube this great big black policeman got on.Immediately there was subconscious respect on my part for the way he looked.Same must of been going on in the mind of criminals.Hence your far less likely to mess with a big cop.Likewise I remember reading a true account in a book written by a journalist who spent a year with the police in Baltimore which was later turned into a series "homicide life on the street".One instance he was with one detective who was fat and other I think was police was athletic .The criminals body language/mannerisms respected the athletic one straight way due to his physique without not having met him whereas the fat detective no.

With regards to the complaints procedure for police I dont think thats fair.3 strikes and your out doesn't seem right.Some accuse police wrongly .Hence it has to be judged carefully.

Obviously your women cops would have to be athletes and know how defend themselves. I just see a more gentle way of ding things using women. I don't see any female cop pushing that old man or using a knee to choke anyone out.

No chance..... if you are ever in a situation where a big, strong man is going violent.... you want men there to restrain them.

Women should not be sent in teams of two paramedics either, as they are not strong enough to carry people down stairs etc my gran had a turn once and they sent two women, who then had to phone another ambulance with men to come and carry her down the stairs...... couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I know someone who is trained in the riot squad in the police.He' stated what you loosely said.In their training theres women who were a liability eg cant hold their shields for a consistent time amidst aggressive barrage from stones etc and had to be shepherded by the males.He doesnt agree with women holding certain jobs down in the police ala the above.

i do think our police departments should be ran by the government not the state, meaning same methods nation wide and not an individual state thing.

Harder to become a cop more background checks about this guys personality. A HS linebacker.....nay!

It's basic common-sense. Ask any one in the police, fire department, army etc ... if their comments would not be made public and their jobs were not at risk..... "would you rather have a male or female by your side in life-or-death situations"

We all know what the answer would be. I know my answer, and most honest people with a brain would rather it was males in those professions.
