But I'm going to assume that you are young. So you going to have to "eat shit" for a minute.
Meaning that to "gain skills", you are going to have to earn your stripes, so to speak.
This is from a blue collar perspective.
You could be a genius, and take the Earth to light-speed travel in the span of a decade.
Good luck, dude.

Finding a job in the USA can be competitive, especially for fresh graduates or international applicants. It often requires strong qualifications and clear communication skills. During job hunting, many students choose to to save time and focus more on networking, applications, and interview preparation, which really helps.

There are plenty of low wage McJobs here if you don’t have any particular skills, but you won’t be able to live on that income without either a second job or roommate to share expenses. All depends on what jobs you’re looking for.

Shit.
Don't know your "immigration" status, but if you're not "skilled" in your 40's, might be a tough nut to crack.
You got a "in", trades, CDL, whatever, go for it.
As others have said, it also depends what part of this Country you are trying to live in.
Cost of living. Property tax. Insurance. Healthcare.

Well, with higher education it wasn't very difficult. But I also had a lot of work experience and completed courses. I think that each of you understands that experience is very valued now, perhaps even on a par with education. Now I work as a manager and at the same time help my brother with opening his business. I think I will read and start looking at various interesting programs that will help us save time on personnel selection and similar things related to HR. Therefore, my advice to you is to sit down and gain experience at the same timeLast edited by romekzadra; 06-20-2025, 11:16 AM.
