How much in reparations will Russia owe Ukraine?

Granted we're at least months, maybe years away from the conclusion.

But there is a history of, after a nation invades another and kills and destroys, they are forced to pay big reparations.

Now of course, if Russia wins the war and then takes over all of Europe and even America, then Russia just controls the world. But otherwise, they will owe A LOT in reparations and will have to agree to keep their military minimal, just like what happened to Germany.

Let's hope Russia gets crushed soon so they can start in on the reparations.

Look up how long it took Germany to repay the UK for WWII

Now look up how long it took the UK to repay the US for WWII

The allies who win a war for you is who you owe most to. Those fellas you attacked and failed to beat, not so much.

Russia has never repaid the USA for their WWII debt. Them *****s ain't paying. Ukraine will thogh, as long as they want to be Ukraine instead of Russia. It really is a ****ty position for those scros.
    True that!

Always makes me wince a bit when you get some Americans who don't really engage with history say tropes like 'you would be speaking German if it wasn't for us'. Reductive at best but from Britains end the Americans joined the war too late and only in their own interest and then took our lunch money. So our parents were rationed until 1954!

Obviously nothing against the rank and file American soldiers who done themselves and their nation proud but as a foreign policy and an 'ally'...pfft.

It will be the US that bullies Ukraine for a generation.

Hahaha, wait for the end of the conflict first! You assume and hope that Russia will lose and therefore will owe anything to Ukraine or someone else, but how about if Russia wins the conflict and it turns out even others owe to Russia?

Yeah, Russia didn't pay the US for the help provided in WWII. For once, the US got screwed. Both states are parasites, it is a matter of history which one is bigger for each country individually.

Yeah man, sorry about that. Altruism is what they sell us but what we are is Faustian at best. We think we are altruist, egalitarians, because that's what they tell us ... The people do want to be helpful. They don't say things like "please give to Ukraine so that we can own Ukraine" They say "Please help Ukraine because they are suffering!" and we do. We give. We try. Y'all know all about that because you've been raised up under the umbrella. It's there now too, no longer for the might of the BE. Now it's because we need to help X Y and Z.

We ain't helping a ****ing thing but ourselves.

My grandpa was a good dude, fought in iwo jima and ****, earned a good life after imo and got it. Dude hardly worked after the war and was honest about it. Ford took care of him, made sure every man who wasn't in battle took over for him so he could be lazy. It does pain me to know where that good life was funded. Your grandpa, or maybe father, deserved better. Youse fought properly, big respects bro.

Yes it worked out splendidly when Germany was forced to pay reparations for WWI.

Put it on their tab. I think they still owe the Ukrainians for the grain they stole from them during the Holodomor.

Sounds like there's talk of using some of Russia's frozen assets to pay for more aid for Ukraine, and they will just deduct it from the future reparations Russia will owe. That will be nice to see.
