You are not into Formula 1?? Only thing I hate about modern F1 is the lack of engine note but I would think most car guys love this circuit.

As far as watching on TV it would have to be golf for me. It's fun to play but I can't stand to watch it.

Jujitsu may be effective, but it is extremely rubbish to watch on TV GTFO with all that.

Any MMA match that doesn’t involve striking puts me to deep sleep. I can’t stand that sht especially when they hug each other on the canvas with rubbish names like figure gay triangle or whatever lol. MMA is boring.
Am I wrong about this? Rules in MMA kinda allow grappling to shine more by making certain strikes on a downed opponent illegal, no?

Also, I don't know if anyone else does this, but, I like to check war records for martial arts viability. Boxing and Wrestling have been attributed by the Greeks to their victories. The Egyptians really liked their archery and wrestling. For Japan, let's be honest, it was karate. They kind of ruined karate since the 50s, but that was their hand-to-hand they and the allies claimed gave them advantages. JuJitsu isn't even part of the conversation for another 40 years, long after karate has been morphed into a child's lesson plan of gimmicks, backed by "Well see we made this organization to promote our fighting style/gym, set up rules to make it easier for us to shine, and hired competition significantly levels below our boys" as proof of viability.

Basketball I agree with. Too many points how are you supposed to be excited about any of the points unless it is a buzzer beater.

People (only yanks) s.hit on football (soccer, yanks) but most goals are essentially buzzer beaters. The beautiful game moniker is a stretch because most games are dull but in terms of the team sports it is the one the consistently delivers moments of unmitigated and complete Euphoria that is pure sport crack.

Golf I've never even played but on tv it genuinely feels like you are watching some people go for a walk.

I'm a utilitarian type car guy. I like cars that can get me efficiently from A to B and can be kept in top shape without great effort and expense. Easy to work on and reasonably priced parts. Formula 1 cars might as well be space shuttles for all they resemble the cars we mortals are driving.

Every sport has that one or 2 things that it needs to gain an audience.
For me, watching MLB is a chore.
Most of the time, you're waiting for something to happen.
Even with these new rules to speed games up.
