I think so. They shall not be exempted just like other corporations. Some religious leaders earn some huge amount of money and other have political influences. I think it's time for them to pay their taxes.

Definitely. Even a compromise where they still pay but only 2/3 would be better than them being exempt, and that would be more realistic than them being forced to pay full taxes anytime soon.

Yes, here in the Philippines they used the political influences of the religious groups in endorsing some candidates. Bad and useless candidates are winning because of them.
