NVidia is awesome too. I have a EVGA GTX 295 on my current comp.
Thats one of the best card on the market right now, better than the 5870. So if it's for you i suggest keeping the GTX 295, cause the 5870 isn't an upgrade.

PS: Christine Mendoza is a ****ing babe.
Its actually for a new build I'm doing. I've seen videos on the benchmarks and it was pretty impressive compared to the 295.

Her and Justene Ashley Jaro make me want to set out on an epic journey to marry a Phillipino.
Ashley Jaro and Christine Mendoza. And some other hot chick.
But to answer the TS's question, the lowest you'll find a new 5870 graphics card is probably $350. They've got them listed around $370 on Newegg.com, they're nice pieces, but still pretty expensive. If you're looking for both performance and a great deal, the EVGA cards really give you good **** for your buck.

Yea, I've been checking newegg constantly but keep seeing them on auto notify.
Most of my cards have been EVGAs. Love their upgrade program. But want to try something new.
