    Boxing in California

I'm out here on a two week trip with a handful of spare time. I'm in the Orange County area, but certainly willing to travel.

I'm looking for gyms, shops, best spots to run, etc. Anything boxing/training while I'm out here.

Any one from here, or have been to Cali with some insight or suggestions?

There are a lot of gyms around, Wild Card being one of the best there

What part of OC are you in? Come down to Empire Training Center in Corona on Friday, we have open sparring.

And best places to run, well you are in OC so the beaches are great and the weather will be great the next 2 weeks. South OC has some of the nicest areas.

Private message me if you want more info, I work in Irvine but live out in the I.E.

Can you just walk into wildcard off the street even if fighters are in camp mode?

Can't imagine their is a lot of room to work with Manny's Entourage taking up space

They have a separate area now where they train the higher echelon fighters.

Anyone can go... in fact it's only $5 for a drop in rate. But the parking was awful, and its become far more of a tourist attraction than a straight up boxing gym.

Blimey, didn't realise it was that big to have separate areas
It's good you can pay $5 and that they haven't gone exclusive and turned their back on the foundations of the business, but on the other hand, I can imagine it can be a bit of a circus at times if your an eliete fighter
