Doesn't matter how it is compared to others

Because if it's lower than most people who run regularly then you're gonna wanna push yourself too much and that will lead to injuries

Just slowly try to get better .

If I'm in decent shape I can run 5 miles in 35 mins which is alright. If i haven't trained in a few weeks that goes up to 8 minute miles

Senior year of highschool,I was running track and cross country. Got my mile down to 4:58,and my 3.1 mile to 18:40. Now I just cruise, since its about building endurance not speed lol

Running times vary considerably depending on your boxing weight class. What would be a good 5K (3.1 mile) time for a heavyweight would be considered poor for a welterweight and under.

A decent amateur weighing less than light heavyweight should be able to rattle off 3 x 6 minute miles with one min rest without too much trouble when competition fit.

There is a one minute break every six minutes. It makes a big difference......

It really isn't a tough workout for a fairly fit amateur boxer in at competition level.
