    The key to getting six pack is and was always the right nutrition plan, but it is just damn too much time and effort to explain to you macro and micronutrients and what ratios of these you have to intake to lose the body fat and water.
    I agree that it has a LOT to do with diet, but it's not really that complicated in terms of the science. I never looked up what nutrients I had to take in, and how much, when training to get a six pack. I just ate all-natural foods, ate no bread, nothing after 8pm, and did not add any salt to any food (even when I was cooking it). Cooked meat for myself either by steaming or roasting it with no oil. The key is to eat healthy foods, in terms of more vegetables, fruits, and lean meats. It shouldn't get very complicated.

    That being said, it's foolish to say that the key to getting a six pack is the right nutrition plan exclusively. I had a friend of mine follow my diet for about a 1.5 months (the amount of time it took me to get a six pack), but he did not even come close because he was doing nowhere near the amount of ab exercises that I was doing when I got my six pack.

    It takes diet AND exercise. End of.
